Just wondered whether anyone knows about the DVD situation.

It was supposed to be released on September 9th. And I have it pre-ordered. But what's with the 'temporarily out of stock'? Anyone?

Hopefully it means that they can't keep up with the demand. Then perhaps, in the manner of Family Guy, the dvd sales will alert the powers that be at CBC to the fact that they made a terrible error in canceling this fantastic show.

I'm waiting till I see the DVDs at Borders for me to pick up a copy (I hate waiting for pre-orders to come in, I have to see it and grab it off the shelf)

For those of you who haven't, buy the book. It's pretty funny, as good as the show, and it supports our lord, Douglas Coupland

I've heard there is a playback issue with the DVD during the 6th episode. Have you had any issues?

YES! I was very annoyed. I got them to send it back, and were hoping they'll make a new run.

Thanks for the warning, better wait a bit then.

I miss the show, it was utterly brilliant. Every bit as good as the book, a rare compliment.
