My 2 cents

First I have to say the promotion for this show was atrocious. I mean yes I know the fans of every cancelled show say that but in jPod's case its true. Maybe CBC has a smaller budget than US networks but few commercials for this show and the commercials were crappy. I remember Ethan who's ok, but IMO the characters that make this show are Cowboy, John Doe and Bree and Kaitlin because she's so cute. I'm not sure but I think Alan Thicke was featured prominently which I have no problem because he's good on the show but the Podster's should've been the ones that got featured.

Speaking of which my least favorite scenes were the ones with Ethan's parents. Thicke is hilarious but way too much screentime wasted on Ethan's pot growing mom, the various murders, etc.

I think it's too bad this show could've have been made in the US, the ratings would've been low no doubt but I'm guessing it would've had a better chance of getting a second season there than in Canada (which I'm guessing the audience and advertising revenue is small.) It would've been a good fit on NBC as a smart workplace show to pair with The Office.

In all I'm mad the show got cancelled so early but on the bright side at least it went out on top, instead of so many great shows that just limped on when the spark went out of the show.
