Stereotyping, bordering on racist
British and American people are portrayed so stereotypically I feel insulted as I watch this film.
It should be banned. Who's with me?

im sure there was an emoticon rolling around in laughter...
anyway
NO
Hahaha, are you serious?! Wild Child does this in such a harmless form by being funnily over the top. I mean, if you watch a film about a character like Poppy, they're portrayed pretty much the same way- stereotypical 'blonde hair, spoilt brat attitude, materialistic, high maintenance etc. etc.' and same goes for the typical boarding school pupil stereotype as seen with Harriet- 'snobby, arrogant, bossy etc. etc.' So if you go banning Wild Child... there are a heap of other films you could add with it I'd say :L
shareWell I am an american and I am high-maintenance, materialistic, and other such stuff as well. :P
Three words for you:
Get over yourself.
IF you really think this film is stereotypical, why do you care?? if it has offended you then i'm sure you must relate in someway to the people on the film. And PLEASE if you feel your country has been portrayed in the wrong light then please go take a long walk of a short pier.
There's some things I don't do
Just curious, what was sterotyped about the Britts?
sharePeople are taking this way too seriously. It was fun, and thats all its supposed to be.
I'm British, and though I'm nothing like those in the movie, I took no offense whatsoever. I didn't even think about it until I came here and noticed everyone complaining about it.
It makes me laugh when people say that films like this are "racist". Please don't ever watch something like American History X. You might just have a heart attack.
