Considering it made enough money to eqivilate around 30 ppl going to see it THROUGHOUT australia... i somehow doubt that someone will come on here :(

I want to see it, but the closest cinema that shows it is 2000+km away. lol. Damn. Its one week only. tonight was its last night aparently.

I watched it last night, soooo not worth seeing.
I cannot describe in words how bad it is... and ive been known to like many movies that are not good...

Faith: You're protecting vampires? Are you the bad slayer now? Am I the good slayer now?

reply

I completely agree Slayerette9.
It is too bad for words. Script, acting, visuals = pathetic.
Sounds like it had a troubled production, with maybe the Director being replaced.
Anyone know what happened...?

It is a terrible film and totally embarrassing for us Aussies i say

I agree with all of the above. I rarely complain about bad movies..but this has to be one of the worst I have ever seen, and I've seen some shockers in my time.

I'm watching it now and feel like slitting my wrists. I'm still hoping for a 'it's so bad, it's good' outcome, but it's just getting worse. Who the *beep* carries a chainsaw cross-country?
I can't believe a state government authority actually put money up for this... is it really that easy to get government funding? Speaking of which, does anyone know the budget?

I've seen some pretty bad horror movies, but this is easily one of the worst.
Nothing made sense. The characters were so unbelivably stupid (they make characters from other horror movies look like geniuses), the cinematography was weird (what was with the over-saturation and contrast in the car scenes!), the deaths weren't scary (nor was the main villain), and the majoroity of the plot made no sense whatsoever.

It's a shame. The premise was interesting and could have worked in the hands of a more capable director and writer.

Props had to go to the second death scene though. I was laughing all the way through that. The characters acted so ridiculously.

And yet they didn't have rope or a jack for the car. Two essential things you should take on a road trip to the outback. Bizarre.

Yeah it was damn awful, and I love Natalie, but really...what was she thinking! And what's with the chicks randomly hooking up at the end? Terrible, terrible film.
