Howdy,
I found the Individual Eleven online, it did not have any subtitles at all. Upon looking at it I noticed there is no new material. It's 163 mins of footage from GITS SAC 2nd GIG, the footage surrounding the "Individual Eleven" terrorist. The company calls this edit a "re-born", I call this selling the same thing twice!

Couldn't agree with you more. Easy money for the studios. But, many studios do this. Evil Dead's a great, campy Sam Raimi film and everyone who follows him loves it. There must be at least 20 or 30 releases with unedited footage (it was very college campy to begin with), actor interviews, collector's editions. Digitally mastered... and so on. I see this all the time with "re-born" or director's cut releases. My English professor used to tell the class that too much writing leads to boring the audience and the risk for more mistakes. The same with these re-releases... stuff we probably didn't need to ever see or even care to.
shareYeah except they used different English voice actors for god knows why because they straight up suck compared to the GitS SAC cast. Batou's voice is hilarious. Sounds worse than the guy they got to dub over Mel Gibson for the original Road Warrior.
