this tv movie was simply ghastly. horrible acting, laughable casting, and Michael Imperioli was dreadful. The editing/flash back scenes are disasterous. Miss Winfrey needs to separate herself from her sychophantic staff and yes-people. Pure dreck. 1 out of 10 stars. Vile on every level.

sharei have to agree with you after sopranos and good fellas this actor just wasnt casted right ..he cant play baseball the only one i thought was half decent was his mom.i have to say i did cry alot .I dont know cause i watched it or it had its sad moments..

i thought burstyn was good and mathis as the younger version was good too. imperioli was adequate i thought.
