I really enjoyed it!

I thought it was very well done. Great acting all around. Imperioli was great like always. It was also nicely shot and well written.

Great job.

Me too! I haven't read the book, but the movie makes me want to. Also, I loved the way the baseball was incorporated into the story, but it wasn't all about baseball. Anyway I'm definitely buying this book next time I hit the bookstore!

Read it (you will love)!

And yeah, I enjoyed the movie as well... great casting all around and they included a lot of touching moments from the book. I actually read that Imperioli was going to be in this right before I picked up For One More Day over the summer, so I totally pictured him as Charley throughout; that scene with him + Burstyn in the kitchen played exactly as I'd seen it in my head. Loved everything with little Vadim, too -- he looks so much like his dad and it seems as though he got some of his talent to boot.

Are you?

Just saw your post on how 'ghastly' and 'vile' everything about this movie was, lol... good stuff. (Thanks for the smile, I needed that this morning!)

Don't forget how he mentions that Michael Imperioli's acting was terrible.

That got me to crack a smile out of confusion, too.
