For One More Day vs. Five People You Meet in Heaven

... Personally, I thought For One More Day was the better adaptation. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed Five People also, but I just thought the movie went better with the book and made the better transition for this one. I still have yet to see Tuesdays with Morrie, or I'd have thrown it in, too.

Neither movie was a s good as the books. I've never seen Tuesday's with Morrie, but did read the book, and I'd not be surprized if that was the case with it too, even if Jack Lemmon does play Morrie

i havn't finished For One More Day yet, but I like it so far. I loved Five People, especially the narration throughout the movie. I've read all 3 books and have seen FOMD and five people, although i'm the only person on this planet apparently that didn't love Morrie...i liked it, but I thought the others were better...especially Five People.

Both were very good adaptations of the books, which rank among some of my favorite novels.

I would say that The Five People You Meet in Heaven was a better movie than For One More Day, compared to the books anyway. I thought 5 people movie was closer to the book than For One More Day was. I think I just like 5 people better in general. Both are great movies, but the books are so much better.
