Did anyone else notice the HUGE nod to the Umbrella Corporation when the lads stumble into the church and start watching the CCTV? There was an umbrella with exactly the same design as the UMB logo.

shareThe simple fact is that most umbrella's are made of 8 sections, and alternating colours on each section is quite a popular design trend, doesn't make me believe this is a nod to the RE series. If the writing on the darker sections wasn't there, I just might suspend belief for a minute, but the RE umbrella is red and white, with no writing on any section.
shareIt doesn't really matter if it's red and white or anything else.. I believe it was just a little tribute to the RE series and was meant to be noticed by only die hard fans of zombie movies, obviously not you in particular..
It's an umbrella seen from above with white and dark colored sections.. the writing is just a detail..
i think the movie was nice, they could have used a little more comedy to make it better though..
after all this is meant to be a sexist zom/com flick, and because it was sexist there had to be some limits to the caustic remarks and satire portrait of women that was displayed..
IMHO i think most of the bad reviewers here are women.. lol

sure its fun movie with alot of NODS ,not only the RE refrence
ok i saw the umbrella ,the fat lady looks like the fat lady in ''DAWN'' remake ,and ED refrence with the guy from the shop (matt i think )was explaining to the kid the diffrence between zombies and evil dead deadites in the ED comic magazine ,and big ED poster in the shop too ,
and i expect the guy would be good asset bring some experience to actual fight
but i guess he wasnt smart enough while making the idiotic flamethrower out of toys which is the most fun part of the movie lol
( there was some ASH in him but failed to contune the heroism after that
after his first kill ,and thats why i said its fun movie )
the movie was average (with female zombie twist )and nothing more
i liked matt and that dumb banksy acting natural
but didnt like the rest of the guys (nor their reaction )
(in such setuation ,we get shemales instaed of slayers with sense of humor
and finished the movie with few chuckles (and 2 empty bottles )
