Roberto Calvi

I haven't seen this film yet. Just wanted to ask if it goes into much detail about the circumstances of Roberto Calvi's death and how it is portrayed in the film (f it is)? Who does the film see as primarily responsible for the murder, or is it left vague, with basically everyone being responsible for it in one way or another?

Sorry no. The movie does not deal with Roberto Calvi's death.
Actually it does not goes into much detail about any of the allegations and the accusation surrounding Andreotti, but it does five you a clear picture of the man and the politician.
It is a fantastic movie.

Thanks albaprogni. I've seen a few scenes, and it does look great. Will need to make time to watch the whole thing.

Actually it does. Calvi's death is a background event and is referenced (and even shown) in the film. It is true that the film doesn't really go into any detail about Calvi's death or other suspicious events as its purpose is to investigate Andreotti's personality in the light of public knowledge, not to accuse him of anything or draw definite conclusions. The film only insinuates.

The user (Flanged) asked for a specific case, and I quote:
"if it goes into much detail about the circumstances of Roberto Calvi's death and how it is portrayed in the film (f it is)? Who does the film see as primarily responsible for the murder, or is it left vague, with basically everyone being responsible for it in one way or another?"

So no, the movied does not go into any detail whatsoever about Calvi's death (let alone who's "the primarily responsible for the murder), or any other accusations, except the relationship between Andreotti and the Mafia which was more obvious in the movie. The rest are hints and insinuations, not details or focused on them.
