does anyone realize...

that a lot of the choreography for the final dance wouldn't have work if they hadn't been dancing outside in the rain i.e. the lights and splashing water?
This is kind of a glaring plot hole considering that they were suppose to dance inside the club like everyone else.

Glaring plot holes are to be expected in movies like this

No f--ckin' sh!t.

A plot hole? Really? In Step Up 2: The Streets?

I actually kind of enjoyed the movie because I recognized it for what it was. Plot holes were for damn sure no concern.

you do realize that this wasn't the only glaring plot hole right? it's what happens when you make a music video into a movie, really-good dancing, bad plot and acting. but, what dancing!

I don't think it was necessarily a plot hole...more like the rain was conveniently timed.

You would think killing people would make them like you but it doesn't. It just makes them dead.

Shaaaa - you know how the old musicals like West Side Story and Oklahoma and South Pacific were there as a reason for the songs? These dance movies are here as a reason for the dancing. If you're looking for realism, you're looking in the wrong place. If you're looking for amazing dancing, well, here you go.

They could have performed it inside, but it just looked cooler outside in the rain. Lucky for them really. MSA dance was much better.

Tell you what though, I've done a lot of street/hip hop dance in my life and if someone ever said to me 'let's dance outside on the concrete in the pouring rain!' - HELL no! Haha
