Most pretentious trailer I've ever seen.

I'm not an anti-independent or anti-art film guy at all, but I saw the preview on the blu-ray for "The Secret in their Eyes", but, my god, everything about this movie seems like a heavy-handed, forced attempt at making a "beautiful" movie. Apparently this movie is about two people making wayward glances at each other in otherwise beautiful surroundings.

You'd feel cocky too if you were full of myself.

That's kinda what it turns out to be. The director was apparently shooting for something that communicates primarily through subtle body language and actions, but in my opinion he didn't achieve that any better than someone like Roland Emmerich or Michael Bay would (which isn't to criticize, either--I'm actually a fan of both), so in the end, it seemed kind of pointless and unsatisfying to me. There are some great moments in the film, and it's definitely worth seeing if you're a fan of either Stravinsky or Chanel, but overall it was a disappointment in my opinion.
