I agree. Two recent films and a tv series (starring Shirley Mclaine) featuring Coco Chanel's life and there is not a clear mention to her years spent as Nazi collaborator in any. It's odd given the depth and extent of her involvement.
I think the scene at the end of this film where an elderly Chanel is seen entering a hotel suite was meant to depict her return to the Ritz in Paris for the first time after years of post war self-exile in Switzerland. I'm not sure what connection Stravinsky had to that but he appeared to be waking in the middle of the night in New York City; where he lived for a couple of years before his death. Narrative was also not this films strong suit.
