Truth to story?

It was simply Coco Chanel who stated that they had an affair. But the way it seems, they have projected Stravinskys affair with someone else into the movie and instead replaced his real life mistress with Coco Chanel. If you read up his bio it turns out that he had a major mistress in his life, someone he continued to sleep with even whilst he was still married to his ill wife (what a bastard ) and the story between the two seems very similar to that of what we see in the film. Theres even a part that says the wife constantly pleaded with him to end it but eventually gave in and just accepted the fact that her husband had another woman. After her death he ended up marrying this woman. God what a heartless prick!
