I remember when people thought Instant Star was cancelled, but then a year later they had its final season. Same thing with South of Nowhere. In a few months, we may either be starting the Second and final season, or a new season that kicks it off for many seasons to come. I hope the N would at least tie up things for us with a few more episodes of About a Girl.

Man, it is so sucky that the N soon is only going to have Degrassi as an original. Don't get me wrong, I love That 70's Show and Dawsons Creek, etc, but I just wish they had more original shows.

I'm a little confused. I thought that this show was cancelled a couple of days before the season finale, but here at IMDB it's listed as 2007-?? instead of 2007-2008, and at EZTV's list of when shows are coming back or are canceled it's listed as "pending" while others from last season say "ended." Is there anything really up in the air after all, or have both sites just not been informed that it's over?

It's probably on a "hiatus", meaning that they're unsure if it's going to be brought back. The Best Years was on a 9 month hiatus, and because contracts were still pending. Eventually, they might get everyone back to do a few episodes to tie all the lose ends. But as far as actors and public know..it's been canceled. Which is why the actors pick up other projects...they do have to pay the bills after all.

Degrassi is not an original N show. They bought it from CTV in Canada. They will have NO ORIGINAL programing, and that sucks.
