I saw this at the Phoenix Film Festival, but missed the ending due to another screening I had to attend. Since it's not on DVD yet, I can't rent it. Can someone give me a synopsis of the ending? I had to leave right after the boys kiss in the tent, and the one runs off. What happens?

The uncle and nephew go off looking for the friend. The nephew falls on the bank of a river, twists his ankle and gets wet. The uncle gives him his clothes and carries him. The uncle eventually has no energy to continue carrying him and they both pass out in the woods(at this point I was fairly confident the Uncle was going to die saving his nephew). The uncle wakes up in the morning, they end up being very close to the beach but didn't realize it due to being night time and having no light. They collect themselves on the beach, say their apologies due to the tent incident and head back home. The mother thanks the uncle for saving the son although he doesn't feel like he's done much. The uncle apologizes to his band mates. They go on to tell him how they've been doing work on their own and that's what the record label is interested in. He's booted from the band, goes home and packs to move out of the sister's house. He has a goodbye with the kid and tells him he's going to stay with a friend, they show a few scenes of him eating, on the bus, at a bar, and ends with him looking at himself in the bar bathroom window.
It may have been his aunt not his sister, don't remember 100% what their relationship was. Decent flick though.
