coppola refused to talk about marlon even at the time he died, sayin simply he would greatly miss him. he said because brando hated people talkin about how great an actor he was and awards and honors, he felt uncomfortable talkin about him to the press/public.

deniro is a very poor interviewee. without a script and play/film, he does not have charisma, is shy and comes off poorly. however i do not know what the makers of the documentary thought or if they asked him or not.

i read that eva marie saint didnt appear as she felt she had said all she had to say previously, in a bbc interview and numerous print interviews.

btw, as i posted on the main brando board, i've been told the doc will be released on dvd in october of this year
