Could've easily been a karate kid remake

Don't get me wrong I like this movie but if you watch this you'll see the backbones of this and the karate kid are very similar! Lets take a look shall we??

>Poor kid moves to new town (Daniel La Russo/Jake Tyler)
>Poor kid meets hot girl (Ali Mills/Baja Miller)
>Hot girl has Jerk boyfriend (Johnny Lawrence/Ryan McCarthy)
>Jerk boyfriend is a skilled fighter (Johnny's karate/Ryan's mixed martial arts)
>Poor kid gets into fight with jerk boyfriend and gets his ass kicked (Beach party/mansion party)
>Poor kid learns martial arts from a foreign born teacher (Miyagi/Roqua)
>In the climax Poor kid has gained new skills and does well in the fighting tournament (karate all valley championships/beatdown)
>Poor kid suffers injury and has to go sit out to recover (Daniels leg/Jakes ribs)
> Poor kid gets into fight with jerk boyfriend who beat the hell out of them early in the film
>Through determination and new skill poor kid wins and wins the heart of hot girl as well as jerk boyfriends respect.

Just my 2 cents

More like a remake of No Retreat, No Surrender: http://youtu.be/Ua8Tgv99Ljc?t=37m19s

This movie is certainly more than a little derivative and a number of templates have been used in constructing it.🐭

Hell yeah! I enjoyed this one more that the actual Karate Kid re-make from 2010. Since they went to China for that one, the title has become misleading as it is NOT about Karate!

It certainly was not very original with a mixture of Karate Kid, Rocky and lots of other similarly themed films.

Its that man again!!
