"Notepad" - next exciting Uwe Boll epic

I've seen the film. I thought it was awesome. I don't know what people expected, but most large animal films (Lake Placid, Razorback, Eight Legged Freaks, Primevil, Tremors) seem to get back reviews. Take it for what it is. I'll definately be adding it to my collection once it hits DVD. I think the IMDB rating is way to low for the film personally. If you aren't into giant animals gone wild, violence, deliverance like characters that you love to hate then this isn't the film for you. There are so many crappy films that get distribution, when fun films like this don't. BTW the trailer doesn't do the film justice. 7 out of 10.

Seen it, hated it. Decent acting, poor plot, cheesy monster/pig/hog. End of story.

Thanks nikka, I'ma a sucker for monster movies so looks like I'm going to enjoy this one. Thanks for your input!

Just watched it's pretty fun

watched it last week.enjoyed it for what it is.monster pig film with crazy characters and some decent kill scenes.

Yup, same here. Go in expecting good gore and comedy, and that's about it. It was worth watching, especially since the last 20-30 mins are actually really good. Especially the giant pig at the end, it was a good non cgi effect.

I dunno if I would consider this a monster movie a la lake placid, or 8 legged freaks, but it's still a good flick for how little they spent on making it...

I liked it too, don't get the poor rating. I voted it a 7 but i feel it's at least a 6.5 movie. Story was cool, the pig at the end was ok having in mind the kind of budget they probably had, and much better than poor cgi effects like in the movie Unearthed, for instance.

5,5/10

It was OK to say the least, but could really use some better editing to tghten up and lose about 10-15 unneccesary minutes.

Gave it 4/10. I thought it had a ridiculous plot, totally gratuitous nudity, and hardly any time for the monster. I'm glad I saw it, though, because I was not familiar with Les Claypool's music. I can't get "Booneville Stomp" out of my head! I just went to Amazon and ordered the album that includes this song.

If you can place yourself into B-Movie state of thought, its actually a pretty good movie which gets better (even if bizarre) in the last 30 minutes. Sometimes after all the A grade Hollywood or World Cinema, its good to watch one of these....that's the variety of motion pictures.
