Is anybody writing about this film bona fide viewers who have no financial interest in this film?

This is an insult to the IMDB reader: the comments are written like promos.

Give me a break: I have seen this film. It's tolerable if you know you have rented straight to video stuff.

The actors gave their 100% and the production squeezed all it could from a meager budget.

But is ain't Delivrance or Jaws in the bush.

As for 99% of the contents of the Pig Hunt board: hogwash.

It's horribly annoying. I can't stand pouring through threads from a bunch of shills. Grrrr... should be an automatic ban or something. Or someone should hunt them down like... pigs.

I'm guessing your speaking form first hand experience? Were you on set or in this movie? 99% of the positive comments on here seem to be from those associated with it as the original poster states!

Hey you may be right. It seems this byron-spooner guy only posted once ever and gave a raving review.

I always hoped the The Amazing Colossal Man would marry the 50 Foot Woman

I think suspicions are correct here.
I looked through the reviews and it's so obvious it's shills for the movie company or creators.
I just pressed 'report this' on every comment from these:

Colby Edgmon
queenaggie
barbash

GhoulishPorridge

All have written only one comment ever obn the site, yep, for this movie.

Even the names chosen...MysticalGibberish seems a bit close to GhoulishPorridge to me...

I hope the rest of you will report the comments too otherwise this site WILL be like a shopping site very soon.. :(

As to the shill comments, did the folks who were involved with this really think they were making a quality flick? i can't decide which is scarier; that folks spent money to make this movie, or that someone actually wrote the script. Yikes. & what is it with the get-ups worn; guy with a ghurka blade & sarong?! girl with bra with foot-long feathers!?! (who, btw, seemed real calm about 90% of her horse being ripped off...literally and figuratively).
This movie explored whole new realms of bad, new frontiers of crapola, the word "dreck" trembled inside the dictionary when it was released. I rarely bail out on a movie before it's finished --we usually can find something to laugh at-- but oy vey, this was positively painful.
do I sound like a spammer? I sound like someone who actually saw the thing...or as much as I could stand.
