Theatrical/DVD release in north america?

Does anyone know if this film will have a theatrical release in north america? Or failing that, at least a dvd release? I saw the film at TIFF last year & loved it; I'm dying to see it again & would love for those I recommended it to to be able to see it as well!

The film is currently slated for a December 8 2009 dvd release (region 1) according to Amazon

It is now available at Netflix - either DVD or Instant View.
