looking for cheesebuger that was steamed with chipped ice

i am looking for the show that they were cooking on a flat grill cheeseburgers and he piled a huge amount of shredded cheddar cheese on top of the hamburger and he placed a stainless steel box over it and then let it melt a second and then took off the box and placed a bun on and then placed the box back on and then the kicker he raised up the box and placed ice chips all around the hamburger and put the box back down to finish it. didn't take long. i am t. ill and i would love to try that hamhurger before i leave. if you know, please email me at [email protected]
i agree guy needs to wear tennis shoes in the kitchen because of the saftey issue. otherwise i think he is great he is different. the places look great and the food and the people. it is amazing how many people those little places can feed in a short period of time. they know how to work it.

it was the restaurant in Sacramento, CA...if that is any help.

Look at that puss. He looks like Boris Karloff.

I live about 50 minutes from Sacramento. Guess I'll have to make a special lunch trip sometime soon!

I am jealous. I used to live in SF when I was a kid...Milbrae...do you live by Truckee? Thats about an hour east of Sacramento. I also heard they have a GREAT Drive In there too...one of those multi-screen drive ins...make a day and night of it...the popcorn will be on me! you buy the burgers though...lol.

You know what they charge for an eye? An arm and a leg.

By the way I understand the Squeeze Inn has to move to a different location now because some handicapped lady sued them for not being wheelchair accessible. They haven't relocated yet but again, apparently they will, so check their website before taking a trip out there if you're planning to: http://www.thesqueezeinn.com/

what a strange story. good to see the squeeze inn didn't become permanently handicapped.

I've had the hamburger with the huge mound of shredded cheddar at Brewburgers in Omaha.

Fantastic!

Only unfortunate thing about that place is, it is on a major intersection (108th and L) but you have to take 108th north, turn left on a side street and then thread your way through a motel complex parking lot to get to Brewburgers. I can imagine some people not figuring out how to get there.

good to know! thx. sounds like fun.
