What is with Guy's 'Style'?

I'm sure this has been brought up before, but what is with the way this guy acts and dresses? Clearly he's trying to be cool, but he is also clearly out of touch. His clothes, hair, the way he talks, and everything reminds me of high school kids circa 1996-1998. I know, because many of my friends looked just like him in high school, without the goatee and weight. I think he's the only person in North America to say "Tight!!" since that time period as well.

He doesn't seem like a bad guy, just a guy stuck in a prolonged mid-life crisis, with his finger on the pulse of "90's cool".

I agree on the bleach blonde hair thing. He would look so much better if he left the hair alone and just let it be his natural dark brown. He dosen't have the complexion for platinum hair.

In an episode of Off The Hook, Guy Fieri pointed out his brother in the audience. (I think it was his twin brother). Anyway, that guy really didn't look like anything - certainly not a big-time TV celebrity, so I can see why Guy has the look (or at least SOME look).
