I agree, brilliant laugh and would have loved the werewolf sequel had they made it.
shareI'm glad some people can appreciate this film. I thought it was awful and not in a 'so bad it's good' way. A real shame to me as I usually love horror comedies. However from a straight male point of view (ironically) there was at least the added bonus of some fine looking lesbian vampires, particularly Eva (the main vamp devotee of Carmilla).
The issue isn't whether you're paranoid, but whether you're paranoid enough.
I loved it too!
I have been an aficionado of the Vampire legend for many decades, and love all the Hammer productions.
This one, however, is nicely done, side-splittingly funny in parts, has GREAT music by Debbie Wiseman, and has some genuinely gorgeous and evil Vampires.
I watch it a couple of times per year, and it never fails to lift my spirits....
