A truly beautiful movie

This is truly a beautiful movie and it's a real shame they don't make movies like this anymore. Juliette Binoche is a fantastic actress and Kirostami is one of the most underrated directors around.
Ignore the review posted by Isabelle Alenus who so clearly has absolutley no understanding whatsoever of what a truly great movie really is. Hers is a rambling review without meaning posted by somebody in desperate need of drawing attention to herself

Yes I enjoyed the film...though I wouldn't say it's 'truly beautiful'. I'll say it's interesting and Binoche is wonderful in her role.

It resonated with me more than almost any other film I've seen in 2010.

The film at times gets caught up in its own self-consciouness. As a consequence, it can at times be contrived. But on the whole, thanks to the excellent interpretation of Juliette Binoche, the films manages a certain degree of poignancy in the end.

looks like fun, but why don't you say a little more about what makes it so special?

Agree. I watched it yesterday and absolutely adored the movie. I feel that have to watch it again soon. Juliette Binoche is a great actress. She's has proven so a long time ago.

What do you mean "they don't make movies like this anymore"? Is this a film from the 50's?
