Julian is a male actor! So I expect it will be a male monster. Mind you when he played Ariel in The Tempest he was a tad camp!

Camp?! ok well maybe a little... that was a fantastic play though and Areil was definitely the highlight, a really distinct and fascinating portrayal

Dr Frankenstein is a woman-not the monster. The monster is not Frankenstein- common mistake.

I'm a big fan of Frankenstein in just about any form, but ....what's the deal? Why are they making another one?

And Dr. Frankenstein is a woman in this? What!?

Maybe because of all this business about stem cells and cloning-someone thought it would be a good opportunity to update the story and give it a twist.
