Another Jerky Cam Fiasco

There is no excuse for gawful shaky cam and unwatchable imagery.
The movie descends to ugly radio.
SIGH...
When will the industry give up this horrid practice of jittery, jerky movement of the camera. It is not entertaining. It is nauseating. It is horrible.
And the idiots who tell each other that it is GREAT should be shrink wrapped in cellulose and dosed with sufficient meds.

I detest the widespread practice of ruining otherwise entertaining action scenes with the vandalism of the imagery. Hopefully, the industry will get the message that they're ruining their product with such dreck. But as long as the sheeple line up and pay for it, they will keep puking it out, in the false belief that we like it.

Nausea is not entertainment, and I won't support it.
I will not subject myself to this - this - profane excrement.

In your rant, you omitted CGI.

Btw, a legit. rant in some ways!

Perhaps I'm getting used to it, but I didn't feel there was an overabundance of jerky hand-held camera work in this film. There are a lot of quick edits in the battle and chase scenes, undoubtedly to highlight the frantic nature of the activities. On the other hand I enjoyed the fact that there is clearly so much location footage used in the film, rather than that obtained from studios.🐭

"Nausea is not entertainment"

Well said! I hate this style of filmmaking.
