The Ending - It's Not The Game

I just watched the last hour of the movie again (it's all I have time for tonight) and I'm sure there was really something there. And on Cooper's "Holy sheet!" it cuts to black, the credits roll on a song and that's the end. But I'm sure in the theatrical/DVD version it's timed right and not truncated like it was on Siffy.

it could be the game! ur right

It's NOT the game. That was the point of my post. The DVD is out now and Rankin explains on the commentary that he shot a scene with Leechee and a band of survivors showing up, big group hug, music swells, the end. But he hated it, so he cut it out and ended it like an old-style creature feature.

Ah ok sisterdebmac thanks for that

Bad decision!

I watched it until the....

end?

Yea, that was a junk ending in my view and a big let down!
Because of that, I'd skip wasting your time with it.

By now it my be in the bargain bin for under $5!

Hate that kind of ending -- not worth a sequel but a pretty good low budget bug movie.

The ending ruined a very bad movie. So I guess it's ok. But since the movie is so bad, it makes it feel like the director thought he could get people talking if he just cut out the ending?

Bad move.

I liked this movie a lot but the ending was bleh

If you dig the movie it grows on you with repeat viewings.

The ending made me laugh my ass off. It's like the director is saying, "What, you really want to know how it ends? It's just a stupid movie! If you haven't enjoyed it this far, some arbitrary happy or unhappy ending isn't going to make any difference!" And I agree.

So now I know and agree with the Director. Forget the big group hug, just leave it up to our imagination.

Terrible things Lawrence. You've done terrible things.
