I have a question for black people

From my limited experience and interaction with African americans, I have come to realize that most black people;
1. Don't like white people
2. Don't like the us government
3. Think the american system is unfair to them

My question is , if you don't like The USA so much why don't you leave? I am not American, I am just curious.

My question is if you dislike the USA so much then why don't you leave? I am an American; I am not curious, just full of sh_t.

Owned.

Why can't you be a non-conformist like everyone else?

reply

Yea, he owned him when he agreed with him that blacks do not like whites.

Did you even watch the movie? How would you feel if those had been your people?

reply

I have come to realize that most white people

1. Don't understand why black people don't like them,

That's a fair concern.

When someone doesn't like you, simply because of your color, when you did nothing wrong to that person, and especially when that person actually has advantages you don't, then, yes, it's puzzling you're disliked.

As you mentioned, your interactions are limited and you are not American. There are some very good books and movies out there about the history of African - Americans in the US. I recommend the PBS documentary 'Many Rivers to Cross'. If you have any genuine questions after you have absorbed all the information contained there then I'm sure people would be happy to answer them.

There are racists of all races here, a lot of Americans hate government, and most Americans see something in the system to bitch about.

For an example, white conservatives constantly bitch about how America has become an overly PC, secular, gay marriage-friendly, abortionist, welfare state. But don't get them wrong, they still love what they personally assign to be the "ideals of America".

reply

Because this is called the best country in the world. Where they came from probably is a bad place. Like Mexicans, they leave Mexico because they have no money and to them the USA is the Golden World. Plus most countries have bad laws and stupid governments.

BTW, many people in USA hate the government.

Whoa now, calm down buddy. I'm black. Be careful to make such a generalized statement. We're not all alike. That being said, what you said has validity. Many blacks aren't willing to let go of past pain and many use it as a crippling effect to play the race card. It's a shame.

BUT honestly if we really want to get real with it, it's a society problem. The same evil society that created slavery is the same evil society today. As long as selfishness exists, things will never get better. People will always be angry and will always try to push the envelope of what's tolerable in society.

I feel sorry that so many people have to focus on ethnicity. There's only one race and it's the human race. Because blacks do it, whites label us a certain way. Because whites label them a certain way, blacks always stay angry. It's a ridiculous cycle that requires people to rise above their selfishness and see things for the way they really are. Ethnicity means NOTHING when it comes to a person's content. NOTHING. The world sees it this way but it does not make it right.

People tend to see not with their eyes but with their experiences. For many black people, in order to "fit in" with some sort of identity, they try to protect the blacks of yesterday, many of whom were lynched and treated like garbage. They do this because they feel like without the black identity, they mean nothing, which is complete trash. We all mean something, and we shouldn't need to identify with an ethnicity and try to put ourselves in a box of what we believe we should do. God made us all different colors but I doubt it was to cause emotional division. We're a bunch of morons who freak out when somebody of a different color steps into a restaurant. That is the stupidest reason to hate someone.

OP, the problem isn't with blacks, it's with people.

I agree soul, great response. You would make an excellent columist.

I said as a whole. Meaning there are blacks who aren't like that.

"as a whole" means every member in the set.

just FYI.

" as a whole" means " in the aggregate". If you took millions of bue and yellow Legos, and zoomed out enough so that you can see "the whole of them", it would be green. Also, it's pretty obtuse to assume he meant "literally every single black person".

" as a whole" means " in the aggregate".

according to the pianoherodictionary, i suppose it does.

"the whole of them"

"the whole of them" wasn't the phrase used. it was "as a whole," which includes every member within the set.

Also, it's pretty obtuse to assume he meant "literally every single black person".

Blacks are just unwilling to take responsibility as a whole.

^^^when speakers make statements like this, the intent is to speak for every member of the group. the intent isn't to speak about a certain population of specific individuals within the group.

Yes, "as a whole" includes every member in a set, and as a whole, that set has an aggregate.

The best way to describe the blacks in America is that of a petulant spoiled child who doesn't get his own way so he'll scream racism

WOW. So what exactly have black people been spoiled with? Slavery, segregation, disfranchisement, racism, terrorism, execution, harassment? Yeah sounds like grounds to be spoiled to me.

It's screamed daily.

You're simply not hanging around the cool people.

1. Blacks actually prefer to be around a diverse mix of people including whites. It balances things out nicely.

2. No one likes the Tax man.

3. Every human employs the Karpman Drama Triangle which means at any given moment they are in one of three modes. Persecuted, Persecutor or Rescuer. So each of us has the ability and inclination to play the victim is the needs suit us.

I hang around awesome people regardless of color.

reply

They don't like the government, yet vote for it in droves by voting Democrat. It's bizarre.

reply

Well, based on your limited experience I am going to assume you've never met me.

1. Do I like white people? I have many white friends. As a matter of a fact, I have probably had more white friends in my lifetime than black friends. Are there white people I don't like? Sure. But I don't like most people in general. I'm a 25 year old, by the way.
2. Meh. I think I have my problems with certain segments of American politics as do a lot of people. I find people who blindly support and follow politicians and the government, whether to the left of right disturbing. More than not, I don't see a point in voting, which makes me sad because I feel like I should vote as a black person. Do you want them to gauge your left eye or right eye is basically the gist.
3. Unfair to them? Unfair to us you mean, I think. Well, I as well as you know that America has a bad and shameful history when it comes to race relations and civil rights. That being said, I think that the some of the government tries to be fair. I mean, it's not perfect but things are better.
