I'd recommend "All the Way" instead

Just saw Selma and was underwhelmed. It basically did what it was supposed to do; told the story of Selma and voting rights...nothing more, nothing less. Except it portrayed LBJ as someone that had to be dragged kicking and screaming to the issue, and at the end seriously abbreviated his We Shall Overcome speech (one of the greatest Presidential speeches ever). Just passing marks for the direction. See All the Way for the LBJ parallel, which was more accurate.

For who would bear the whips and scorns of Hollywood... (;-p)
