Her Parents.........

We find out at the end that she knew about the box from the very beginning.

So what was her plain? - To kill all that knew and meet her parents at the stop?

Also, we figured out the Asians guys and The guy dressed like an old lady were some type of agents who's only purpose for being on the train was to get the box. -

But what was the young female's connection to the box - how'd she know about it? - Was the biology book and parents just a front?

"We find out at the end that she knew about the box from the very beginning. "

And how did we find out?

Towards the end she says something along the lines of she's been after the box.

All I'm asking is was her parents and the biology studies a front or was she really a student that was supposed to be meeting her parents?

You are obviously not understanding my original post or any of my responses - So lets just consider this a miss communication and drop it.

We found out because we were paying attention to the movie's dialog, unlike you apparently.

Nothing you have to say is anywhere near as useful or important as you think it is.

Read savanna-2 's post. The question is now resolved.

Hey, Soldier. Do you know who's in command here?

reply

thanks for the clear up. - Could have sworn she said she knew about it.

After reading your post, I had to go back and rewatch the scene, as I thought the same thing as you. Your question made me realize that her knowing of the existence of the box wouldn't make much since in her character's storyline. So I listened to it a few times over and here's the bit of dialog which could be confusing.

She says speaking to Miles:

I'm the one ITS (the box) been searching for all these years. I'm the one it really wants. Why do you think to protected me from that bullet?

So, in her crazy head the BOX has been searching for her!

She didn't know about it until Danny Glover and Steve Zahn did. I think she meant she was after it since she saw it. They mention in the special features that she was normal in the beginning and changed just like everyone else.

Buzz! Your girlfriend! Woof!

I also could have sworn she said that she was looking for it, I'm guessing that box really pulled a number on us.

the movie wasn't great, but her appearance made it worth renting. I'm pretty sure, I've seen every good movie she's been in.

I'm sorry but it BAFFLES ME (almost to the point of pissing me off) seeing people take that line to mean she knew about the box beforehand. It annoys me so much because it reminds me of how ridiculously people think in day to day life. She OBVIOUSLY had to stay alive. She CHOPPED up that guy's body for goodness sake! She was the most affected so I'm sure she wouldnt be an early one to die.

Wasnt it vividly clear that she said that particular line because she didnt die when she was shot at??? By vividly clear, I mean she actually said she didn't die after being shot at. Wasnt she insane enough already to conclude the reason for her staying alive is because the box wanted her to??? The doors were opening for her because the box *knew* she'd willingly kill everyone lol.....
