All Aboard the Cartoon Train

I thought the movie was pretty good but the CGI train was so cartoonish that it took me right out of the movie every time. It reminded me of being a child and having someone read a story and then stop and show me a drawing of the subject.

It would have worked in B&W. I don't feel it was that much of a distraction though.

I didn't mind it. I just thought Leelee's face looked too airbrushed in some scenes making her face look weird at times.

I liked the cgi train. Watched the film late at night in a dark room and it had that effect of an old time film.

Agree on the cartoonish look of the train scenes. One thing that would have helped is if it wasn't going like 100mph - especially at night in the snow, the train should have been going slower. Because of the speed, it made the train seem lightweight, like it was a toy train.
