easaly. it is getting warmer. i just dont think we are the cause of it and i assume it will begin to cool down soon.

There is corrilation between changes in temp and CO2. We currently have 20% more CO2 in the atmosphere than at any other time in the last 650,000 years and the temp is warmer is warmer than ever before.

reply

That's as it should be. The warmer it gets, the more CO2 is produced by nature. Temperature is causing the CO2 increase.
Forget all the *beep* about who has more agreeing scientists and who's more political. Use your common sense. When you go out, what warms your skin? Is it the CO2 from your breath, or is it the bright blazing Sun?

reply

That's the most specious thing I've read in quite awhile. Do some research on the greenhouse effect, something that is not disputed, and don't rely so much on your "common sense."

reply

Nice......yah sun warms not the co2

reply

YES

reply

because the united nations report says its 95% likely that man is responsible, that and the fact that NASA were involved in developing this film.

reply

what is the NASA thing supposed to mean? I'm not saying you are incorrect I just don't see the relevance myself.

no this documantry really open my eyes

reply

No. Mainstream media hype is dangerous. They tell people what they want to hear and people pay attention to bad news. Look at Iraq. You never hear the good stories so everyone thinks its a total lost cause. The people that put in the time to dig know the reality is far from a lost cause.

reply

LOL. How? Because not everyone believes everything they see on TV, as you clearly do. This film uses very persuasive techniques, i.e. Professors X,Y,Z say this so it must be true. It is mostly rubbish.

reply

And tell me, where did you get your evidence for believing that global warming is caused by humans, if not from the television?

reply

Sorry but I am forced to flip a coin, as to which way I go on this one. I would really like to know the 'true' motivation (who pays the piper?).

No sorry, I will go with the 'YES' we are responsible, I don't like it, it's just my gut.

BUT do we see ourselves as being big enough to kill a whole planet ?

reply

"kill a whole planet"? I think the problem with global warming is the possibility to make it uninhabitable for the human race or at least a large portion of it. I don't know if even the most extreme possible outcomes being discussed would result in the entire anihilation of the planet or at least the complete destrustion of the entire planets ecosystem. Even if global warming is not man made and will have no detrimental effect on the planet, yes we could seriously fnck it up. It's quite stupid to even pretend otherwise. We could easily ruin everything for ourselves with only a small percentage of the nukes we have developed. We constantly have detrimental effects on local environments from overpopulation, pollution, or simply pouring concrete over them. To suggest that we are incapable of doing this on a grander scale makes no sence whatsoever especially since we have clearly already proven we do effect our global environment in so many ways beyond global warming.
