Well I'm Australian...

And this movie made my heart break. I watched it tonight with my mum and we both cried. It was a beautifully portrayed film and to me had nothing to do with the politics of war. I don't think anyone, from any country, could sit through this and not be touched by they way the emotions of every character, from the lead actor to the smallest extra were so touchingly protrayed. I felt proud of the way it showed what happened to the young marine from the moment of his death to the moment of his funeral. As an Australian, I felt honored to see this side of a conflict that thankfully we as a country have only experienced in small numbers and I just want to wish all the service men and women, from every nation, the very best and hope that they all can return to the families that love and miss them.
