What tha?

I found it really strange that so much was going on in this movie and yet there was no plot. When I watched the commercials, I thought to myself, what is this movie about? I didn't see any conflict, hint at vacation/family trouble, etc. It looked like a slide show from someones vacation. So I wanted to lay out all of the things that could have been explored or expanded upon.

Father works too much
Father doesn't pay attention to the baby
Kids pay no attention to the baby
An Au Pair needs an Au Pair
The stereo types of the Puetro Rican applicants
The fact that the father pushes his will on EVERYONE in the family
The weirdo that wrote a book about their family
The clinic situation
Giving babies random "herbal pain relievers"
How fat that baby was
the severe depression Jenny seemed to be going through
What a h*o Katie was
that the father paid someone to be his daughters friend
Did the friend like Alex or not?
Is it normal for a Husband to catch a plane out of the country leaving his wife and children and leaving only a one sentence note?
Two words: Ant Assault
The fact that the bike rental salesman made a big speech about leaving the next day and then doesn't leave at all
Why do these people need bodyguards?
Couldn't they have hired better bodygaurds?
Random snake in tree scene

This movie was so cheesy.

You hit the nail on the head on all of those points. I sure would like to know if Gregory thought of that after he saw it lol It leaves the audience with questions. They need to reshoot the movie lol.

The bodyguard for the girl. Well what skills did she have to protect this girl. It never revealed any of that. And I tell you i thought at the end when Katie was mad at her for lying and the girl asked her to forgive her and were they still friends I thought she would take time to deal with that but no instant forgiveness and hug lol.

The way the girl told Alex to meet her and she had to talk to him yet she never did tell him what it was. We are left wondering why in the hell did she meet him and then at the end its revealed but not well written.

And what was the point of Jenny in this version. She was the main character in the first two yet here she is just standing around doing nothing but checking on the baby and I kept thinking at least twice when Katie is trying to share something with her, Jenny has to see about the baby that they were going to expand on that jealosy over the baby but never did.

I totally agree why call a movie Au Pair if it doenst have the Au Pair plot. So now she is no longer an au pair since she married the man who hired her so in this one they have her interview an Au Pair for the baby. Well that should have been the plot dealing with a new Au Pair for their child, maybe they could have utilized the bodyguard as the new au pair and them having to deal with her becoming romantically involved with their grown son. Maybe they could have begun to date and in future Au Pairs they would have gotten married. I think that would have been a good way to deal with a continued plot for this series.

I hear Greg is going to be at one of those fan events in NJ where you go to get autographs. It's too far for me to go. Id love to but dont think I can afford it but I dont think I could asl Greg all these questions, Id be too nervous. Wish someone would. Seems he would have had some input into all this.

Oh those bodyguards I agree got on my nerves. I mean I kept wondering why they were so bumbling and why they overreacted like when she gets in a boat or takes a bike ride chasing her and say Oh No they are getting away. All that just to watch the kids. That was so stupid to even have to do that. Is that based on real life rich people. Do they need bodyguards.
