...The hell?

What kind of ending was that?

I know. I was like.. wait. Is there a third part? LOL.

I had the same question when I saw the "wife" transform into Jamie's character but I think I figured it out. When Vee was doing her spell, and the coven was doing their spell, it also showed Jamie Lynn's character doing a spell. She was probably trying to transform herself into the wife because she was in love with the doctor. I doubt it will happen but I would love for them to turn that into a series and possibly clear up that ending.

But the point is, they left so much of the storyline up in the air. It's like they didn't know how to end it, or maybe they just ran out of time...

They may have left it open like that on purpose with the intention on doing a possible series, or another mini series.

Well, I'm not satisfied with the ending--as I noticed the show was about to go off, I was thinking that it wasn't doing a good job of wrapping things up.

However, the battle between good and evil is never-ending, and it would have seemed silly if one little girl had managed to wipe out the entire coven. So I sort of understand the ending, as far as that goes. But the body switching was definitely something that I wasn't expecting!

A series or continuance of the mini series would be nice to wrap up the ending but frankly, I don't know that I would watch. I sort of feel like I wasted 4 hours of my life.

It was forced setup for a sequel, but the storyline was such that should have been wrapped up in this movie.

The storyline did not need to become a sequel. This was bad writing.

I don't think that she was in love. I think the coven had her do it, so the family would forget about the mother. Though, that didn't quite happen.

Forgive the time lapse, but I just saw this movie on my dvr last night, but I was not so much confused as disturbed by the ending. I mean, yes, it was a WTH moment at first, but when Elaine said "insurance policy" I knew she somehow had leverage on Ann. At first, I thought she was going to use Thomas' other son to bring Thomas back, but then we cut to a weird scene. Zee is with her parents at a diner. "Ann" goes to put Zee's hand in hers and Zee pulls it away, but smiles lovingly at her father (the exact opposite of how the movie begins where it appears Zee is extremely resentful of her dad and adoring of her mom). I was trying to figure it out thinking, well perhaps now she is more aligned with her dad and she is angry with what Ann did. Weird, but okay, teens are weird, hehe. Then the scene where they are making love. I knew something was totally off at the end when Peter Gallagher is never able to find Ann in the house. So I thought maybe he finds her offscreen or not at all. When they said they found her in the park I was like, that's not Ann. Or Ann has turned. I wondered what happened to Maggy and thought maybe SHE was the insurance policy that Elaine was talking about.

So, what is the insurance policy? Is Maggy required to be Ann so that Ann and Maggy stay alive? Is Maggy doing it to hide her existence? Or was Maggy trapped in Ann's body another way when she recited her spells in the protective circle to ward off the coven. When Maggy reveals herself in the mirror at the end there is clear anguish in her face. Just a lot of questions. I want answers darn it! LOL
