Is there an opening date for "Yonkers Joe?"

I was told yesterday that it got picked up and will be out in Jan 09.

You can see it for free if you have Direct TV, it will be on HD network channel 78 1/7/09. It will open in theaters two days later 1/9/09

No I am not, the info I posted was from the promos they have been running on the HD channel. I believe they mentioned it is available on PPV. I don't know if that is just Direct TV PPV or also cable PPV, that is why I didn't mention PPV before. This looks like a great movie I may even watch it on PPV before it airs for free.

I does seem like an odd way to market a movie, first PPV, then free, then movie theaters

If you have HDNetMovies channel you can watch it in the comfort of your home before it's released in theaters.
