Ha, yeah. It was more than cringe-worthy. I had to change the channel after like 5 minutes. I couldn't stand the embarrassment I felt for the actors... lol

Never seen the movie, but I get the feeling her dad was the one played by Roddy Piper. If it is (he has the beard, rents a boat, that's all I can tell from the trailer) then it's either the source or the fact that he used to be a pro wrestler and moved on to action movies. (Including the excellent They Live, which actually has a good performance from him.)
