I just watched it on youtube and oh my god. I LOVE ALEXZ JOHNSON!She was so good in this movie, yes the plot was a little shaky and not great. But how frickin good was she?!?!! She was the best actor in the whole movie, and she was the main character so how come she isn't first on the imdb cast list?

She is sooooo amazingly talented, and she only acts to fund her music projects... jealous! But seriously she did an amazing job. I'm a huge fan of Alexz and when she was like "Maybe you should put me to bed." or something I was like "Nooo don't rape Alexz!" and the weirdo priest guy near the end. She is so amazing. And she did such a good job in that role.

I would watch it just for Alexz. Actually I pretty much did. But it's seriously worth it if you like her. It's on youtube if anyone wants to.

Alexz rocks.I first saw her act when I seen FD3,I may have seen like five seconds of her in So Weird,but I'm not sure.I don't know why,but I just love her!She does everything!She has a great voice,and has loads of talent.I admit I have been jealous.xD

I'm trying to be as good of a fan as I can,but Instant Star hardly comes on anymore,so I can't see it.Plus,I only seena few epsiodes so I'm so confused with whats going on.The priest at the end was really weird and I thought the same thing."Don't rape Alexz!!!".I had to watch it,since I heard she was in it.

you can watch episodes of instant star on veoh, most of them are on there thankfully. they never play instant star on australian tv anymore. Alexz is so amazing... I wish I could actually watch this movie rather than see it in 10 minutes blocks on youtube.

Thanx.I forced myself to wake up at six so I can see four episodes this morning.I wish I lived in Canda too,dispite the freaky weather.

canada does not have freaky weather i used live there
over there actually has seasons
i live in california we dont have seasons
anyways yes alexz can act,sing,and shes really pretty
she should have been first in the cast list

Alexz is my one and only girl crush. She's amazing! I was okay with her character on "So Weird", but since it replaced my fave one, I really wasn't a fan. Then the newspaper had a thing about a new series called "Instant Star" starting on The-N (now a seperate stationon its own... in the U.S.) years ao. It said she went rock, so it was awesome and I watched all four seasons (just ended a few weeks ago). Then I had to buy F3 cuz she was in it, and watch this movie because of the same reason. She's AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, Alexz is listed first on IMDb now, so the OP's wish came true.

I actually found this movie when I was looking for stuff with Magda Apanowicz, because I liked her in Kyle XY, and was pleasantly surprised to see Alexz was in it too. They're both great, although I think Magda is hotter.

Interestingly, the copy I'm watching has "starring Miriam McDonald" as part of the permanent watermark, and I'd never heard of her. I would think Alexz and Magda are better known, although perhaps not in 2007 when this was made.

Alexz was really good and pretty,I didn't like what happened to her in the end.Usually the good come out unscathed.She looks like Vancouver Global noon news anchor,Randene Neil.I like this kind of horror movie.

I hated the end too. she was trying to do good in the movie. so nothing bad should have happened to her. it should have been a happy ending for her.

I watched the movie for Alexz and also Miriam and Deanna from Degrassi. I really liked it, it was better than most tv movies, but I also wish Dominique wouldn't have ended up in the mental hospital. I wish the book could have somehow been destroyed and Dominique would have been happy and dating Andy.

I saw Alexz in concert a week and a half ago and she was amazing! I got to meet her and she signed a tshirt for me!
