What is exactly the ending??

I just watched the movie and I don't get how they ended the movie. Bobby managed to expose the conspiracy and ended up walking through the halls triumphant. Is that supposed to mean everything's been set right, that Paul got vindication, and Bobby didn't get blacklisted?? What exactly were the consequences of exposing the bad guys?? They just ended it on that note without implying what happened afterwards.

I'd say you're supposed to use your imagination.

The drug dealing kids likely got expelled at minimum. At maximum they were turned over to the police for prosecution for embezzlement and drug dealing.

Hopefully the jock president got reinstated at the school and got to use his college scholarship.

Funke got to do the summer journalism program at Northwestern.

Francesca ended up the pariah of the school for her involvement in the plan.
