What happened to him? They seemed to have just worked everything out at the end of the first movie.
shareYeah, I was wondering about that myself. I know he is remarried to Lydia and living in VA in the first film, but you think he'd see his daughter perform in that play. Maybe the book explains it more.

I wonder if he just felt that she was a grown up and she would come back herself. Some parents are that way. Of course, when she went home, he did call to see if she got back home okay.

What third film? The second film was the end of the series. I happened to check the books in Barnes and Noble and saw that the last book's ending was the ending of this film.
