I'm no huge fan but I find most of her films entertaining. She was great in the role she won the award for and her comedies are always fun and light.
I have problem with an actor testing their limits and it seems like Bullock does that a lot.
Not every film is a winner but I really can't understand why people find such a thrill ripping on people for no good reason? Are your lives so horrific?

People won't tolerate a below average person gaining major success, which is why Sandra Bullock can dire ire from some. I'm not opposed to the ire even though I it's just a matter of the right role for her skills to come out. Still, one must admit, for her to beat the likes of the vastly superior Meryl Streep and Helen Mirren to win the Oscar makes an acting/cinema aficionado barf.
And don't feel bad for Sandra. Her bank account is solace enough for hate.

I like her in comedies but can't stand her trying to be serious. It just doesn't work. She should never have won that Oscar for wearing a push-up bra and adopting a southern accent. Much like Julia Roberts Oscar winning performance
