I LOVED this

Liked it very much. And it tackled an issue the media prefers to ignore: interference in 3rd world countries by the IMF.

I only rated it a 6, but I did find it entertaining. I just wish it was either more consistently comic and satiric (as it was toward the beginning) or more thoughtful about the serious stuff we got at the end. A little more detail about exactly why the IMF was so hated would have given that side of things more emotional emphasis for the viewer. Maybe some more about what Castillo was actually thinking during the campaign could have helped on that end too.

Bullock was excellent, though. Loved the early stuff, where she's toting around her oxygen tank and looking like death warmed over. And I did totally buy her character's change at the end.

I love her, she is AMAZING, always loved every film she has ever done.

It is certainly better than most critics have been saying. Quite entertaining overall, well acted, though it did drag in a couple spots.

I agree. Movie so much better than expected. Bullock is great in the movie. Critics are wrong.

sharon1188-531-237925- I'm a huge Sandra Bullock fan as well, but this movie didn't work for me as it did for you. One of my main complaints, even though I knew it was based on true events, was I didn't care about the her character. It didn't matter to me if she won or lost. That, in my opinion, was very important to the story. So even though I like her, I wouldn't suggest this movie to my friends to see at the theater.

Amanda Bynes is hot and Lindsay Lohan is not.
