Just another tobacco industry-supported excuse for a movie

Does anyone see the big "sub-plot" (i.e. excuse to show smoking) as first Bullock claims she quit smoking...then suddenly starts up again later, as we sit there watching her puff away, as if it had anything to do with the story, which is really lame to begin with. Somewhat later on, BBT starts smoking as well, the two of them looking like brainless idiots. Yo fools, this is 2016, and we're all aware that senseless smoking in movies adds nothing to the plot. It merely teaches young people that it's OK to start. The a-hole directors and producers of this pos should be more responsible, as should SB and BBT, and flip off the tobacco industry instead of supporting them with their blood money. Thumbs D-O-W-N on this one.

I'm sure the young people packed in the theatres to see Our Brand is Crisis

Lol! Still happens in movies young kids WILL line up to watch.
As a former smoker, it drove me nuts and when they'd light up, I'd want one too. Myself and all smokers I know felt (feel) the same way when seeing a lot of smoking on screen. When I did smoke, I never did so in my home, so I'd have to pause movies and run outside.

They do, especially young girls, because of Bullock. She often wins Teen Choice Awards for her movies and image. So she really sets a sh**y example for the girls who follow her by lighting up every chance she gets.

This movie made $7 million dollars, I'm betting poltical movies based in central america where she is starring opposite Billy Bob Thornton doesn't attract the same crowd as The Heat

Or, here's an idea: People could parent their own kids, instead of expecting Hollywood to set the tone...

"Your mother puts license plates in your underwear? How do you sit?!"
