I have to wait till VOD tomorrow because the theater near my university of course isn't getting it. I'm so excited though. Green Day is my all-time favorite band and American Idiot was probably the most important album of my teenage years. I honestly didn't think this was ever going to get released so it's awesome it's finally coming out. Is anyone going to see it in theaters tonight?

sharePlease report back with your thoughts. I'm curious to see if the film has been edited from the original cut that was shown in 2004 which was 2 hours because a lot of theaters have the run time listed at 97 minutes. Hopefully that isn't true and the film still really is two hours.
shareJust got back and I loved it. Unfortunately you were right, movie started at 8pm and got out of the theater around 9:41pm. I wonder what they cut out?
