Is this a bunch of deleted scenes from a subplot in "Get Smart" edited into a movie, ala the second Anchorman film, or is this actually a seperate film with its own script? Anyone know?

it's a seperate movie, and was intended to be seperate from the beginning... the events of this movie are supposed to be taking place during the events of the Get Smart movie, but they're only lightly tied together...
