Illiana - Twitches Too (2007) Discussion

It upsets me, but kind of in the way I was upset when Sara Paxton replaced Kimberly J. Brown in the new Halloweentown movie. I don't think she'll ruin the character, but it's just not the same. At least Karsh is still played by the same person.

I liked the original Illeana. She seemed more silly and fun, which went great with the character of Karsh, where he's all serious and negative all the time. :D This Illeana seems too serious, and with the two of them like that, I hope it won't bore me too much. Though, the movie looks pretty good!

Did you just accuse me of being skillful and delicious?

Yes, Karsh is still played by Pat Kelly and the new Ileana is played by Leslie Sieler. I too was disappointed when i first found out that it was a different actress but i am going to give the film a change before i judge. i will still love the movie now matter what because i am a HUGE twitches fan.

As for Return to Halloweentown. I did love the movie, because i love the Halloweentown series but i wish they would have waited until Kimberly J. Brown was available. It's not that Sara Paxton isn't a good actress because i think she is, but we grew up with Kim Brown as marnie for the first 3 movies. i hear they are supposed to be making one more and i hope it is Kim Brown again.

Back to Twitches Too. The official site is up, why don't u all head over there and check out the vids and the pics and character bios and then tune into Disney Channel on October 12 and watch and then judge. for all we know this could be better then the first one. just like High school musical 2

I agree with Syberia Winx and with the most of you. I like the old Illeana (Jennifer Robertson) better. :( I was also upset that Sara Paxton replaced Kimberly J. Brown. :( Why was she (Jennifer) replaced anyway? :?

She's different actor but she looks pretty funny from the stuff I've seen on the web-site. She's also alot hotter than the first Illiana too! Coventry needs more babes like that!

yeah it made me mad that they replaced the original Ileana, but like someone said, at least Pat Kelly is still there! Lol I love him!

Yeah, I liked and preferred the first one, too. Her comedic timing was very good and natural (which provided great chemistry between she and Karsh)

I was actually bumbed out that the original illiana was played by someone else, but then I saw the first movie again and then the second and my favorite was the Twitches Too Illiana. I am srry that people might not agree with me but even though she was more serious. The old Illiana was way to old (I mean I was hoping her vain on her neck wouldn't pop out) and also she was kinda not funny but I thought that this Illiana was hilerious. People might hate me for this but I defiantly LIke Twitches Too Illiana.

I think the first Ileana was WAY better..this new Ileana and Karsh has absolutely NO chemistry..the first Ileana and Karsh had MUCH better chemistry!

The second Illeana, from certain angles, reminded me a bit of an older Willow from "Buffy"...which is amusing to me because when I first saw the original Twitches, I thought Karsh was played by the guy who played Andrew (the nerdy reformed villain/sidekick) on that same show.

the first illeana was better in the humor part. The new Illeana... is well... not very fun.

And they made a huge mistake casting sara paxton instead of kimberly brown... kimberly brown is fat... sara paxton is skinny... I mean they could of at least cast someone who looks REMOTELY like the old actor...

The new Ileana brought snacks to the battle-that's pretty awesome.

And while I don't think it was smart to change the actress in the new Halloweentown after being played by the same girl in the three previous films, I didn't dislike Sara Paxton in the role.

I was really upset when I found out they replaced Jennifer Robertson as Ileana, but I was actually pleasantly surprised with the new Ileana. Jennifer did a better job at the Karsh/Ileana chemistry (which I love!!), but I think Leslie did an excellent job in Twitches Too.

Perhaps because I saw "Twitches Too" before I saw "Twitches", I liked the new Ileana way better than the old one. I thought the banter between Ileana and Karsh was more believable, and the original Ileana seemed a bit old for the part. It is always unfortunate when an actor is replaced in a sequel, because it irritates and distracts the viewer. As to why Jennifer Robertson was replaced, there could be many reasons - maybe she didn't want to do a sequel, maybe she asked for more money and they said no, maybe there was a scheduling conflict.

You know they look so much alike that I didn't notice, as in I thought she looked different but I wasn't sure

I hadn't seen Twitches since Halloween 2006 and I liked the second one better.

You know who does remind me of someone.
