Oh...My...God...

I hope Wikipedia is wrong with what they say is the plot...because it has nothing to do with Twitches, and doesn't even deserve to be called Twitches. Anyone who is a fan of the book series will be disappointed unless they look past it.

Um...I guess I don't understand when you said that the plot has nothing to do with the movie. You make it sound like they're going to make it a rap scene or something god awful and further from the original story. All Wikipedia has to say about the sequel is that the twins search for their father.

the first movie was also way off from the books. & a bit of a let down in comparison. this one cant be much worse!

truth or dare ??

just because something is based on a movie doesnt mean that its going to be the same i mean no movie is the same as the book because u cant do a lot of the stuff in a book on screen so no duh its diffrent

Or Sit on his Throne?

Exactly!!!!! I mean, has anyone read the novel version of Cheaper By the Dozen? It has got to be the most boring book I've ever read. The movie is nothing like it at all, and I loved the movie (and still do ). So don't get your underwear in a knot and throw a hissy-fit because a movie isn't EXACTLY like its inspired novel.

Its a book too!!! Boy, do I feel out of the loop. I gotta read that I have seen the fisrt movie it was decent.

reply

If you thought the movie was "decent", I would advise you not to read the book... it's set like back in the 40s or something like that and it's just really boring; nothing like the movie.

Umm...the T*Witches books are set in modern times...

I'm totally disappointed in the movies. It's like they have NOTHING to do with the books!

reply

The stuff in the books from what I remember is pretty do-able on screen, the people creating the "adaption" just suck at doing just that adapting.

reply

THe first movie was AWFUL the worst, this one will be as well. Its sad that they had a chance to really make something good and they chose to make Sister, SIter with magic.

I LOVED THE FIRST ONE AND I WILL DEFINETLY WATCH THIS ONE!!!!

I JUST SAW THE SECOND PREVIEW OF THE MOVIE AND IT LOOKS SO COOL!

I agree with everyone that said that movies hardly ever stay completely true to the books. I, for one, haven't read the books, so I liked the first one and look foward to the sequal. By the way, I wouldn't trust Wikipedia.

LIV3 LAUGH LOV3 ... Live Your Life

reply

I agree, it's dumb. I am only going to watch it because it's "based(quite loosely and badly I might add) off of one of my favorite book series ever. Tia and Tamera will never be Cam/Apolla and Alex/Artemis.

reply

i have to say that i agree with everyone who loves the movie and over look the fact that the movie doesn't follow the books. i own all 10 books and love them but u know what? i also love the movie. tia and tamera are perfect as cam and alex. it really is amazing how pathetic some people can be when things don't go their way. it's sad too. oh well there are other fans of the books out there that over looked the differences and loved it anyway. too bad everyone can't be open minded.

reply

How can you say that Tia and Tamera are perfect as Cam and Alex? Alex isn't even half as edgy in the movies as she is in the books. and Cam is all girly. They aren't anything like their book counterparts. Which is a bit understandable, but to just completely TWIST and TURN something until it isn't the same in any instance is wrong. The books were very doable, Disney just decided that it would be better to ruin the books.

Oh and btw, that post wasn't a stab at their nationality. Looking at it makes me kinda think that's what I meant. Which it isn't. I meant how they acted.

actually disney only bought the rights to the characters, and something else and wrote their own script and their vision of what it would be,

reply

I personally enjoyed the films! Never wanted to read the books much and still don't. Besides, I love Tia Mowry and Tamera Mowry and seeing them play witches for the first time was definitely something new. I think they did fairly well. Yeah, not great due to specific points in the movies that looked kind of...weird, but...all in all, it was great. I'd totally watch a third film if/when they make it.
