So...was she carrying the creature's baby or Clive's

They make a point early in the movie when they have sex on the couch that they forgot protection, so are they leaving it up to us as to whose child she is carrying?

It's the creature's baby. That's why she's signing the contract and the corporate lady is telling her that she doesn't have to do it.
Beastiality, incest, and pedophilia all at the same time.

Yes, I agree with rocket above. It's Dren's brat. Good luck with the birth is all I can say. We've seen that she's already made plenty of dumb moves throughout the movie.🐭

You know something, I often wonder if Elsa giving birth to the hybrid creature child would prove to be fatal for her or not depending on what the baby may look like and what kind of potentially dangerous animal characteristics it has.

Why would she sign a contract with that lady if it was Clive baby? Its obviously Dren's baby.

I like to think Elsa doesn't know whose baby it is; it could be Clive's, otherwise why have the line about having unprotected sex? And if it is his she'd want to keep it, especially in light of her sad reaction to what he said about her never wanting a child of her own.

But the scene certainly played out as if she suspected it was Dren's and that she was doing a deal with the drug company and a chillingly amoral CEO.

If it's the latter then that's disappointing because surely the message Elsa was supposed to have learnt -or she's had no journey whatsoever over the course of the story- is that you don't play scientist-God with what you don't understand, in which case she'd either terminate the pregnancy or not allow further scientific use of the offspring. But then she always was the hard-headed, ambitious side of the partnership, and the one who might have curbed her excesses wound up dead.

The logical thing to do if you don't know who the father is, is wait until the birth and then take the cheque if it's Dren's, but that doesn't have quiet the same drama.
