I watched a hilarious bootleg of this movie...

...while in a country where copyrights mean nothing and pirated films are even shown on TV. Anyway, it was recorded in projection booth (Russian theater, I think), so you could hear when audience reacted.

The movie may as well have had a laugh track, because they were howling at how bad some of the scenes were. Particularly when She catches him doing the creature and runs. I thought it was funny too, but hearing the cackling audience made it unbearably funny. And when the mutants start fighting at the presention and splatter everyone with blood, I was doubled over, in pain, laughing.

One of the best viewing experiences of my life.
